What just happened to you this weekend?

SEC football is back and better than ever, and several players and teams made their presence known.

Let’s start with Texas A&M QB Kenny Hill, who torched South Carolina to the tune of 511 yards and three touchdowns, and if we’ve learned anything about Kevin Sumlin’s quarterbacks and offense is that the numbers are going to be silly. Johnny Manziel’s out and Hill is in, and the offense didn’t even skip a beat. Hill leads all SEC quarterbacks in passing yardage.

I have a feeling Georgia’s Todd Gurley and Auburn’s Cameron Artis-Payne will be going head-to-head this season to lead the conference in carries, yardage and touchdowns. Gurley rushed for 198 yards and three touchdowns, and he’s seventh in the country in total rushing yardage. Artis-Payne rushed for 177 yards and one touchdown, with 98 of those coming in the fourth quarter and sealing the game.
