Who showed out on gameday during Week 8 of the SEC season? Here’s a quick glance:

ALABAMA: Junior tailback T.J. Yeldon averaged 8.8 yards per carry (114 yards rushing) and scored his first two touchdowns since the season opener during the Crimson Tide’s 602-yard explosion. Quarterback Blake Sims and wideout Amari Cooper are just as deserving.

ARKANSAS: Quarterback Brandon Allen kept the Razorbacks in the game after intermission, finishing with a season-high 296 yards. His three touchdown passes tied a personal-high against an SEC opponent.

GEORGIA: True freshman Nick Chubb erupted for 202 yards on 30 carries, helping the Bulldogs overcome Todd Gurley’s suspension — again — to win a road game in the SEC.

KENTUCKY: Demarco Robinson was one a few productive seniors for the Wildcats and caught three passes for 52 yards.

LSU: Defensive end Danielle Hunter disrupted the Kentucky passing game throughout and neutralized the offense’s production in the Wildcat.

MISSISSIPPI: Defensive player of the year candidate Senquez Golson picked off two passes against Tennessee, adding to his SEC-leading total.

MISSOURI: Marcus Murphy ripped Florida with a pair of special teams touchdowns including a spectacular gallop on the opening kickoff which set the tone during a 42-13 rout.

SOUTH CAROLINA: Mike Davis rushed for over 100 yards for the third straight game and scored two touchdowns.

TENNESSEE: Linebacker A.J. Johnson and the Vols defense forced eight consecutive three-and-outs to start the game in Oxford, before the lack of production led to a loss. Johnson surpassed 400 career tackles on the night.

TEXAS A&M: Speedy Noil tied for the team lead with four receptions and had a solid afternoon in the return game. As a freshman, he’s been a solid two-way player for the Aggies on a team lacking consistency.
