SEC issues statement about conference basketball tournament after tornado in Nashville

Nashville was hit by a deadly tornado on Monday night. At last count, 25 people have died and many properties and buildings have been damaged.
The SEC men’s basketball tournament is set to tip off from Nashville on Wednesday, March 11.
On Tuesday evening, the SEC issued a statement, sending its condolences to the victims of the tragedy, adding that there are no anticipated changes to the tournament:

The tournament will go from Wednesday until Sunday, with the title game being played on Sunday, March 15 — which is also Selection Sunday.
As damage continues to be assessed in Nashville, we’ll see if anything changes. For now, though, the tourney is expected to go on as planned.
