As we reach the midseason point of the season, media outlets have come out with their best players from the first half, and the Associated Press did it with its Midseason All-America Team.
The SEC landed 7 players on the team, including Alabama’s Bryce Young and Evan Neal on offense, along with Kentucky’s Eli Cox. On defense, there’s Georgia’s Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean, alongside Texas A&M’s Demarvin Leal and Alabama’s Will Anderson.
The team contains a handful of new names and adjustments from the preseason team released in late August. It was picked by a group of AP Top 25 poll voters.
