Uga, Georgia’s English Bulldog, has been the school’s live mascot since 1956. Head coach Wally Butts asked owner Sonny Seiler, who brought the pup with him to a game, to use him as Georgia’s mascot.

Uga has his own uniform and house — an ice-packed kingdom — at Sanford Stadium.
