The SEC had a great relationship with its bowl games during the 2015 season. Out of 10 games, the conference proved victorious in eight, setting the record for most wins in a single season by a conference.

Not only did the SEC win, however. In almost all instances, the SEC won in style. Let’s take a look at the teams which ended up with the most points and the most yards during bowl season.

MOST POINTS

1. LSU: 56 points
2. Mississippi State: 51 points
3. Ole Miss: 48 points

The Tigers ran towards victory on the shoulders of Leonard Fournette. The star running back looked like his former self, rushing for four touchdowns and catching  pass and scoring for a fifth, which ties the record for most total touchdowns in a bowl game. LSU’s 56 points set a school record for most points in a bowl game.

Dak Prescott also set some bowl game records against N.C. State. His 380 yards passing and four touchdowns set a Belk Bowl record.

MOST TOTAL YARDS

1. LSU: 638 yards
T-2. Mississippi State: 569 yards
T-2. Arkansas: 569 yards
4. Ole Miss: 554 yards

Not surprisingly, the highest-scoring SEC teams are also on the list for teams that gained the most yards in bowl games.

Arkansas is the only new team that vaults into the top of the list. While the Razorbacks had a healthy rushing attack of 254 yards, Brandon Allen led the way when another spectacular game at quarterback, passing for 315 yards.
