This year’s Cocktail Party sets up as a key game in the SEC East race. Two-time defending national champion Georgia is on top of the division with a 4-0 record in conference play and 7-0 overall record. Florida still controls its destiny with a 3-1 SEC record and 5-2 overall mark. Mizzou also has just 1 SEC loss and has yet to play Georgia. Tennessee is 2-1 against SEC teams, currently behind Florida in the standings, due to the tiebreaker from the loss in Gainesville.
Georgia has dominated in Jacksonville in recent years. Kirby Smart’s team has won 5 of the last 6 meetings with Florida.
This year’s game is set for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff, airing on CBS.
