SEC Network analysts predict who will play in the SEC Championship game
SEC Network analysts went on the record Wednesday night and made their SEC Championship game predictions for the 2016 season.
Host Maria Taylor and analysts Tim Tebow, Marcus Spears and Paul Finebaum held their annual preview show, and Tebow, Spears and Finebaum predicted the SEC Championship game.
Two common themes about all three picks were Tennessee winning the SEC East and the SEC West winning another title crown — two analysts picked Alabama and one analyst picked LSU.
Here are predictions from Tebow, Spears and Finebaum:
Tim Tebow: Alabama over Tennessee
What he said: “This one is going to be a shocker, but I’m going with Bama over Tennessee.” Finebaum quickly rebutted to Tebow, “I thought you said LSU was the best team?” Tebow responded, “You didn’t listen to me. I said if they have great play out of their quarterback position, they’re the best team.”
Marcus Spears: LSU over Tennessee
What he said: “I’m going LSU over Tennessee.”
Paul Finebaum: Alabama over Tennessee
What he said: “I like Tennessee to get to the championship game and Alabama to beat them.”
