The part of the season that college football fans have been waiting for is getting close as we are just 24 days away from knowing what teams will be in the 2024-2025 College Football Playoff.
There are many SEC teams right now battling it out for the spots, and the schedules that many of these teams have to play present quite a challenge.
During an episode of SEC This Morning, Dari Nowkhah and Peter Burns talked about how those schedules could force teams capable of a long run to be watching the CFP from home.
“Maybe 3 teams that I could see, on their A-Game, win a National Championship in the SEC that will be on the outside looking in.”
@PeterBurnsESPN & @ESPNDari discussed if the tough schedules of some #CFP contenders will keep them out of the Playoff.

“We’re in for a world of hurt,” Burns said. “Even if chalk wins out in this conference Dari, there’s going to be at least probably 2 teams that I think are capable of winning a national championship that aren’t going to get an opportunity. Maybe, 3 teams that I could see on their A game win a national championship in the SEC that will be on the outside looking in.”
There are still a lot of games, but there are definitely going to be some SEC teams that are on the outside looking in on Dec. 8 when the final CFP rankings come out.
