Ole Miss commit Shea Patterson no longer is the No. 1 overall prospect in the Rivals100, but he held off Jacob Eason for the top QB spot in the updated Rivals100 that was released to the public Monday.

Patterson came in at No. 3 while Eason moved up to No. 6. Both players remain five-star prospects with little separating them.

The final showdown will come during the week of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl as many eyes will be watching both players practice and play in the game on Jan. 9. Rivals will update their list once more after the all-star games and state championship games are finished before National Signing Day.

Eason and Patterson weren’t the only SEC-related quarterback prospects to make news coming out of the Rivals100. Tennessee commit Jarrett Guarantano was one of the biggest movers in the Rivals rankings, jumping up 76 spots from 107th to 31st, making him the fourth-best quarterback in the rankings and the top dual-threat quarterback.

Florida commit Feleipe Franks is ranked 29th. He will also be competing with Eason and Patterson in the Army game.
