The SEC’s headliner for its Week 13 Players of the Week honorees is Auburn senior running back Jarquez Hunter, who was named Offensive Player of the Week following his epic performance in the Tigers’ 4-overtime takedown of Texas A&M.

Before Tigers fans stormed the field and turned The Plains into party central on Saturday night, Hunter did his work, running for 130 yards on 28 carries and 3 touchdowns. Hunter, who added 4 catches for 23 yards on Saturday, has now rushed for 1,145 yards on 174 carries — averaging 6.6 yards per carry — and 8 touchdowns this season.

Florida defensive back Bryce Thornton and Texas linebacker Anthony Hill were named co-Defensive Players of the Week. Thornton had a monster game in the Gators’ upset of Ole Miss, piling up 14 total tackles, 5 solo, and 2 interceptions. Hill had 11 tackles, 7 solo, and 2 sacks in the Longhorns’ victory over Kentucky.

Florida punter Jeremy Crenshaw was named Special Teams Player of the Week. Crenshaw had 7 punts for a 46.7-yard average and a long of 62 yards in the win over Ole Miss.

Oklahoma’s Febechi Nwaiwu and LSU’s Will Campbell were named Co-Offensive Linemen of the Week for their work in the trenches in victories over Alabama and Vanderbilt, respectively.

Florida’s Caleb Banks and Oklahoma’s Mason Thomas were named Co-Defensive Linemen of the Week. Banks had 4 tackles, 3 solo, and 2.5 sacks in the Gators’ win over Ole Miss. Thomas had 3 tackles, 2 solo, and 1 sack to help the Sooners’ defense hold Alabama to 3 points in a 24-3 victory.

Finally, Oklahoma’s Xavier Robinson and Auburn’s Cam Coleman were named Co-Freshmen of the Week. Robinson had 18 carries for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns to go with 4 catches for 20 yards in the win over Alabama. Coleman had 7 catches for 128 yards and 2 TDs in that epic upset of Texas A&M.
