SEC Shorts pays visit to doctor to diagnose down year for the conference

SEC Shorts just dropped a hilarious video after the slate of conference games last weekend. Despite boasting six ranked teams anchored by No. 1 Georgia, the standard in the conference is so high that this is currently considered an off-year.
In the skit, a doctor diagnoses the SEC with a rare condition for the conference.
“Sorry to have to tell you this but your condition is far worse than we feared,” The doctor said. “The SEC is having a down year.”
Baffled, the SEC mentions Georgia as a sign of its vitality.
“But Georgia, they’re undefeated. I’ve got the best team in the nation,” The SEC said.
It turns out Georgia isn’t as healthy as expected and the doctor warns about upcoming games against Missouri, Ole Miss and Tennessee, while also pointing out the ankle injury for Brock Bowers.
The doctor gives it straight to the SEC about it being Georgia or bust.
“We’re just an upset Georgia loss away from the SEC potentially missing out on the College Football Playoff,” The doctor said.
When the SEC asks about LSU, the nurse gets in his face with some trash talk.
“Jayden Daniels can’t do nothing about that defense,” The nurse said.
The SEC then has a moment of painful acceptance.
“The Pac-12 is not even going to be a thing next year and they’re better than us,” The SEC said.
The doctor determines the best strategy is to authorize an emergency talent infusion surgery from donors Oklahoma and Texas. However, the donors are now skeptical about going through with the procedure.
“I was not under the impression that we would be carrying this entire mediocre conference when we signed up,” Oklahoma said.
“We were led to believe we’d be joining a nationally competitive league. Not a get beat by Utah by 2 scores league,” Texas added.
Once the nurse opened the briefcase filled with cash, they were both instantly back on board though.
No. 1 Georgia will aim for an 8-0 record when they face rival Florida on Oct. 28 (3:30 p.m. EST/CBS).
