SEC Shorts hilariously mocks fans who moved weddings to the fall amid rumors of spring football
Fall Saturdays are sacred in the South.
Southeastern Conference football trumps all in the fall, including weddings; however, with college football’s doomsday reports a few months ago, fans could actually see themselves at fall weddings due to canceled football. Also, it opened up a few days for couples to plan for weddings, too.
But the SEC isn’t a fan of fall weddings, because it never really canceled, unlike the Big Ten and Pac-12. That’s great news for fans, but it also complicated scheduling for many things, along with the COVID-19 pandemic.
It’s been quite the year in 2020, hasn’t it?
The back-and-forth doomsday reports of SEC football is mocked in the latest SEC Shorts bit on the SEC Network.

Thankfully, college football is being played as we speak, and the SEC is returning on September 26 for 10 games.
