It just means more to play in the SEC.

Coming off visits to two SEC programs and another one scheduled for next weekend, Madison, Mississippi offensive lineman Dylan Spencer has decommitted from Southern Miss.

The Madison Central product committed to Southern Miss back on July 27, 2019. Spencer is listed at 6-4, 300 pounds and rated the No. 45 Mississippi recruit, No. 163 offensive tackle and No. 1,988 prospect in the class of 2020 on the 247Sports Composite. After not signing during December’s Early Signing Period, Spencer collected offers from Mississippi State, Missouri, Tennessee, Arkansas and Kansas.

Spencer visited Tennessee last weekend (Jan. 17), the first weekend since the end of the recruiting dead period. This weekend, he decided to visit Mississippi State instead of Kansas.

For the final weekend before National Signing Day (Feb. 5), Spencer is scheduled to visit Missouri. Check out his senior highlight tape from Hudl:
