Saturday is shaping up to be the biggest weekend in the SEC to date, with 2 huge games highlighting the conference schedule.

More specifically, national championship favorites Alabama and Georgia have sterns tests on their hands, as the top-ranked Crimson Tide play host to No. 12 Ole Miss while the No. 2 Bulldogs entertain 8th-ranked Arkansas.

As he does each week, ESPN’s Bill Connelly released his weekly SP+ predictions Wednesday, which uses a computer model that he has described as an “opponent- and tempo-adjusted look at the most sustainable and predictive aspects of college football. It is intended to be predictive and forward-facing.”

In the featured SEC games mentioned above, the SP+ model predicts a 37-24 Alabama victory and a 32-18 Georgia victory.

In another intriguing SEC showdown on Saturday, SP+ likes Auburn to sneak out a close win at LSU, 28-26, while the model predicts Tennessee to nip Missouri 29-28 in Columbia.

Here’s a look at what the SP+ model predicts for the rest of the week’s SEC action:

  • Georgia 32, Arkansas 18
  • Tennessee 29, Missouri 28
  • Alabama 37, Ole Miss 24
