SEC's Coordinator of Officials cites new rule change for 2016
Steve Shaw, the SEC’s coordinator of officials, spoke to the media on Thursday during the SEC spring meetings and offered insight into a rule change.
This season, tripping a runner will be considered a penalty. The move isn’t too surprising, given the added emphasis on protecting players.
