Six SEC teams rank in the Top 25 of latest ESPN Football Power Index
Fresh off a 31-0 Fiesta Bowl beatdown, it’s a bit odd to see Ohio State at the top of any ranking. However, that’s where the Buckeyes find themselves this spring with Alabama positioned at No. 2 overall in the current ESPN Football Power Index.
Auburn, coming off an 8-5 season, is positioned at No. 5 with LSU, coming off an 8-4 year, ranked just behind their SEC West foe. Here’s a graphic of the entire Top 10:

The SEC placed three other teams inside the Top 25: No. 13 Georgia, No. 15 Florida and No. 19 Tennessee.

Outside of the Top 25 from the SEC: No. 27 Texas A&M, No. 32 South Carolina, No. 33 Mississippi State, No. 34 Kentucky, No. 36 Arkansas, No. 38 Ole Miss, No. 41 Missouri, and finally No. 46 Vanderbilt.
