Louisville and coach Bobby Petrino came within a few yards of winning the ACC two years ago. This season, the Cardinals have just two more shots to win a conference game.

And it doesn’t look like that victory is going to come Friday.

Louisville was absolutely embarrassed in the first half on the road against No. 13 Syracuse. The Cardinals turned the ball over four times in the half, which the Orange turned into 20 points.

At halftime, Syracuse led 37-7.
