Social media rips Bobby Petrino as Louisville trails Syracuse by 30 at the half
Louisville and coach Bobby Petrino came within a few yards of winning the ACC two years ago. This season, the Cardinals have just two more shots to win a conference game.
And it doesn’t look like that victory is going to come Friday.
Louisville was absolutely embarrassed in the first half on the road against No. 13 Syracuse. The Cardinals turned the ball over four times in the half, which the Orange turned into 20 points.
At halftime, Syracuse led 37-7.
As it turns out, Lamar Jackson was that whole program the last two years, and CFB Twitter let Petrino hear about it:
Bobby Petrino is going to busy blocking Syracuse fans on Twitter after the game.

This Louisville showing tonight, and in 2018, has cast some serious scrutiny on the leadership ability and coaching quality of Bobby Petrino.
Wow.

Bobby Petrino waving the white flag in the 2nd quarter. Maybe Vince Tyra should do the same this weekend. Shameful.

Is it ok to turn off the UofL football game to switch over to the UK game to hopefully watch a loss? Asking for a friend who is looking for some hope in this dark Bobby Petrino world @MarkEnnis @CardChronicle @LJthaFiasc0

For his final act, Bobby Petrino will serve up his 4th string QB as an actual human sacrifice.

The good news is Bobby Petrino is a good guy, whose acted ethically, hasn’t burned any bridges and has treated people really well. While this season is a struggle, Bobby will be just fine.

Bobby Petrino’s face is so red right now I think he may combust before halftime. Louisville down 37-7 to Cuse in the 2nd. 9 penalties. 4 turnovers.
