With more than half the SEC slate playing non-conference games Saturday — three against FCS teams — the league’s Week 12 slate isn’t as exciting as usual.

But that didn’t stop S&P+ from projecting how all 11 games involving SEC teams will turn out. S&P+ is an analytics system devised by SB Nation’s Bill Connelly, who on Thursday posted the numbers’ weekly picks against the spread.

The opponent-adjusted analytics measure a team’s efficiency and explosiveness, and Connelly’s system has a good track record against Vegas. When it comes to games featuring SEC teams, S&P+ leans more toward the underdogs this week, though it’s worth noting games involving FCS squads were not assigned spreads.

Here’s how S&P+ sees this week’s slate of SEC games playing out.

  • No. 1 Alabama 55, The Citadel 0
  • No. 5 Georgia 53, UMass (+41.5) 12
