Anyone that follows college football closely knows the best players in the country play in the Southeastern Conference. While the league may not have all the best players, it without question has more than anyone else, recruiting and NFL Draft numbers back that up on an annual basis.

The latest evidence of this fact comes from Sports Illustrated, which just published its list of the top 100 college football players for the 2019 season. The list not only has a heavy SEC influence throughout, the league’s players take up half of the top 10 selections on the list.
