Steve Spurrier might not be on the sidelines anymore, but the Head Ball Coach remains a treasure off the field.

On Wednesday, Spurrier was asked if he would entertain the thought of becoming the College Football Commissioner. He brushed off the possibility, but not without taking a jab at Ole Miss first.

“I doubt it,” Spurrier told WIAT. “That sounds like a lot of work, traveling around the country trying to keep up with Ole Miss and whoever else has been under investigation right now. But that might be something that would be good for college football – to have one guy with some common sense make decisions.”

Never change, Spurrier.
