The Southeastern Conference’s basketball slate just lost a game from its Wednesday slate.

That’s because the league just announced that the upcoming Texas A&M-Vanderbilt game set to be played in Nashville has been postponed due to the number of COVID issues within the Commodore program.

Here is the statement issued by the SEC on Tuesday:

The Texas A&M at Vanderbilt men’s basketball game of January 20 has been postponed due to a combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Vanderbilt basketball program, consistent with Southeastern Conference COVID-19 management requirements.

Texas A&M is currently 6-2 overall on the season with a 2-4 SEC record while Vanderbilt is 4-6 overall with an 0-4 SEC record.
