The Air Raid has returned to the SEC: Social media reacts to first half of LSU-Mississippi State

Over the past few months, how SEC defenses will adjust to Mike Leach’s Air Raid offense has been a popular offseason topic among fans and media members.

On Saturday, the Air Raid officially returned to the SEC with Leach’s Mississippi State Bulldogs taking on the defending national champions, No. 6 LSU.

At the half, the Bulldogs lead the Tigers 17-14. MSU already has 303 total yards, with 292 coming in the passing game. Transfer QB KJ Costello has already thrown 36 passes, completing 21, including 2 touchdowns.
