In case you’re just hopping on your laptop or smartphone for the first time today, and you have missed the latest in the social media world of college football, former Ohio State assistant coach Zach Smith is back to his old tweeting habits.
The disgraced former wide receivers coach went another trademark Twitter rant, this time directed at his former co-worker and current Texas head coach Tom Herman.
Smith went directly at Herman, accusing him of infidelity and tagging Herman’s wife in many of the tweets.
Hey @CoachTomHerman – remember when you told me about when @belletjh caught you cheating on her with an Iowa State recruiting girl?? Lmao… I do. 😂😂😂😂

The problem w/ coaching… ur not “supposed” to be real. But I’m snitching… bc @CoachTomHerman cheated on @belletjh several times. She used to call my ex & cry about how he was such a cheating shitbag. They will deny it… like she told her “I don’t want to lose my life” 😂

Naturally, with great Twitter moments come great Twitter reactions, and the ones after Smith’s rant did not disappoint. Fans, players, and media from all over joined the party, starting with former Tennessee Vol and current Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Ramon Foster.
Zach Smith gotta be hacked. Wow.

Smith’s comments have many wondering how he could possibly get hired anywhere after this, although that ship may have sailed a long time ago anyway.
Whoa.
Apparently, Zach Smith does not want another coaching job ever again. https://t.co/8G6kJj7kBS

Urban Meyer certainly has interest in this storyline as well.

Clearly giving reason to think the allegations against him are false.
Also, there’s definitely no way Urban Meyer could’ve ever seen this guy as unhinged and problematic. https://t.co/UCzSviSgcQ

If nothing else, Zach Smith can probably go ahead and take the word “Coach” out of his Twitter handle.

Who knows when Smith will have his final word, and if this has any impact on Tom Herman and his family. That part remains to be seen, but as of now Smith’s claim of innocence does not look too convincing during his unhinged social media rants.
