Todd McShay is one of ESPN’s top NFL Draft analysts and as the 2023 NFL Draft approaches, he has updated his Round 1 mock draft.

Ahead of the NFL Combine in Indianapolis later this month, McShay is high on a number of draft prospects from the SEC.

He has the Indianapolis Colts trading up with the Chicago Bears to snag Alabama QB Bryce Young with the No. 1 overall pick. From there, he has 11 total SEC stars going in the first round:

  • No. 4 — Jalen Carter, DL, Georgia — Chicago Bears

  • No. 9 — Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida — Carolina Panthers
  • No. 13 — Broderick Jones, OL, Georgia — New York Jets
  • No. 18 — Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia — Detroit Lions
  • No. 20 — Brian Branch, DB, Alabama — Seattle Seahawks
  • No. 21 — Cam Smith, CB, South Carolina — Los Angeles Chargers
  • No. 26 — O’Cyrus Torrence, OL, Florida — Dallas Cowboys
