The great storyteller Tom Rinaldi is leaving ESPN for FOX Sports, and on Friday morning’s College GameDay, Rinaldi signed off from ESPN for the final time.

Rece Davis, Kirk Herbtreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack all thanked and paid tribute to Rinaldi with him standing on the set, and Rinaldi’s final story on GameDay was a Thank You Note from … Tom Rinaldi. Enjoy.

According to reports, Rinaldi is expected to be featured across all of FOX Sports’ major events from the Super Bowl to the World Series to the World Cup and, of course, college football.

It’ll be interesting to see Rinaldi in his new role, as he’s been with ESPN since 2002.
