One of the best players in the 2022 recruiting class has narrowed his college choices. But there are still a lot on his list, including quite a few from the SEC.

Jaleel Skinner, a 4-star tight end from Greer, S.C., is now considering 12 schools, half of which are from the SEC. Here’s the list of schools that Skinner is choosing between (in alphabetical order, with SEC schools in bold):

Auburn
Clemson
Florida
Florida State
Georgia
LSU
Miami
Michigan
Oregon
South Carolina
Tennessee
Virginia Tech

Skinner is the No. 3 tight end in the 2022 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings, as well as the No. 98 overall recruit in the class.

The 247Sports Crystal Ball is currently predicting that Skinner will go to Clemson, which makes sense considering it’s the current top program in his home state. But there is plenty of time before he’ll have to make an official decision, so perhaps he could end up committing to any of these 12 schools.

Skinner is 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds and currently attends Greer High School.
