Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are frustrated as they trail the Las Vegas Raiders 17-7 at halftime. To vent some of his irritations, Kelce spiked his helmet on the sideline in the first half. Coach Andy Reid later intervened and kept a staff member from giving the helmet back to Kelce.

It was apparent that Kelce was upset that he wasn’t on the field during a Chiefs’ fake punt play.

All of that stemmed from a fumble recovery the Raiders turned into a touchdown, and then they got a 33-yard interception return. Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes is 13-for-21 passing for 97 yards with one interception and 2 sacks. Kelce made 4 catches for 42 yards on 5 targets.

The Chiefs were 4-for-9 on 3rd and 4th down conversions.

Frustrations have been evident for the Chiefs all season as they are 9-5 with losses this month to the Bills and Packers. Meanwhile, the wide receivers have developed a problem with drops for much of the season.
