Two former SEC receivers make top five highest graded on PFF
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown and Minnesota wide receiver Justin Jefferson are among the top 5 highest-graded wide receivers through 2 weeks in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus.
The Buffalo Bills’ Stefon Diggs had the highest grade among NFL WRs. Brown is 3rd, while Jefferson is 5th.

Brown was a 2-time All-SEC performer at Ole Miss in 2017 and 2018. He is a former 2nd-round pick (51st overall) by the Tennessee Titans in the 2019 NFL Draft. A Pro Bowler in 2020, he was traded to the Eagles during the 2022 NFL Draft for the 18th overall pick, later signing a 4-year, $100 million contract extension with Philadelphia after the trade. He has 15 catches for 224 yards in 2 games with the Eagles this season.
Jefferson was a 1st-round pick (22nd overall) by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2020 NFL Draft. He is a two-time All-Pro (second team) and has 211 catches for 3,248 yards and 19 touchdowns in two-plus seasons with the Vikings. He helped LSU win the College Football Playoff National Championship Game in 2019 and led the country with 111 catches.
