One of the highest-rated defensive line prospects in the nation has begun to narrow down his options as Tygee Hill is down to his top 10 schools.

The standout lineman from Edna Karr High School in New Orleans announced this update to his recruitment on Monday.

Considering he’s one of the top prospects from Louisiana, Hill has several SEC programs recruiting him to join their program. Of the SEC programs that have offered him, Hill has Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Mississippi State included in his updated top 10.

Outside of the SEC, Hill also has Florida State, Jackson State, Miami, Michigan State and Texas in his top 10.

The 6-foot-2, 280-pound Hill is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 17 defensive tackle and the No. 11 overall prospect from Louisiana in the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
