SEC fans will become increasingly more familiar with UMass in the coming years, a season after the Minutemen played at Georgia.

The school announced this week that it has scheduled future nonconference games with Texas A&M (2022), Auburn (2023), Mississippi State and Georgia (2024). One of their star players in last year’s 66-27 decision at Georgia was WR Andy Isabella, who had 15 catches for 219 yards and two touchdowns. He now plays for the Arizona Cardinals.

“We’ve been hard at work over the last nine months building competitive future schedules that will allow our Independent program to grow and be challenged,” UMass athletics director Ryan Bamford said in a release by the school. “We are pleased with our scheduling progress and ability to secure agreements with a mix of Power Five, Group of Five and regional FCS opponents.”

The Minutemen have only played Georgia last year, have never met Auburn or Texas A&M and played Mississippi State twice. In 2017, they played Tennessee and Mississippi State, and they previously announced a home-and-home series with Missouri for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
