Updated national championship odds released after Week 7

What a weekend it was around college football, with four top-10 teams — No. 2 Clemson, No. 5 Washington, No. 8 Washington State and No. 10 Auburn — all going down on the road to unranked opponents.
The SEC’s top two teams — Alabama and Georgia — managed to avoid upsets, though, and that is reflected in the updated title odds.
The Crimson Tide are now 4/5 favorites to win the national championship, with Ohio State coming in at 7/2 and Clemson at 8/1. Georgia’s odds are listed at 20/1, but may go up significantly if the Bulldogs beat Florida in a couple of weeks:
Updated odds to win the national championship @LVSuperBook:
Alabama 4/5
Ohio St 7/2
Clemson 8/1
Penn St 12/1
Wisconsin 20/1
UGA 20/1— David Payne Purdum (@DavidPurdum) October 15, 2017
The Big Ten has three teams in the top six on the list, but like the SEC, that will sort itself out as teams play each other.
If more top teams avoid upsets next weekend, it’ll be interesting to see what happens with the odds moving forward.
