Updated 2020 SEC title odds released for all 14 teams
The SEC season will start in less than a month, and that means we’ll finally have big-time college football back in our lives.
Heading into the 10-game, conference-only campaign, not every team is expected to have the most competitive season, though.
As you can see below, Alabama, Georgia and Florida have the best odds to win the title, followed by Texas A&M, Auburn and LSU. From there, the odds get much longer:
SEC title odds via @SuperBookSports
Bama Even
Georgia 11/4
Florida 6/1
Texas A&M 16/1
Auburn, LSU 20/1
Tennessee 60/1
Kentucky, Ole Miss, USC 100/1
Miss State, Missouri 200/1
Arkansas 1,000/1
Vanderbilt 2,000/1— Brett McMurphy (@Brett_McMurphy) August 31, 2020
At 2,000/1, Vanderbilt has the worst odds of any of the 14 teams to win the SEC title trophy in Atlanta in December.
Who will win the conference championship? That team will likely be a shoo-in for the College Football Playoff, so stay tuned!
6 to 1 eh? That’s what, 24 to 4 in dawg years…
How can this be, GatorbaitorU is the perennial favorite to run away with the SEC East this year I hear…
Dude gtfoh you’re just scared of UF. Typical biased UGA fan
I believe it would be 42 to 7 in dawg years.
So you’re telling me there’s a chance….
Absolutely
Beat me to it.
It’s about the same odds as being attacked by a polar bear and a grizzly on the same day you were struck by lightning….but yes, there is a chance! lol
2,000/1… it’s like printing money
Yes, there is a chance. As the great Beano Cook once said, Vanderbilt will win the SEC when all the other teams in the league get put on probation. Maybe, the other 13 teams will all be put on emergency probation and declare themselves ineligible for the title, and Vanderbilt will win the league at 0-10.
Well, at least the 0-10 record is really possible, maybe even money.
quite the difference between the Mississippi’s, Mizzou and Arkansas. We should be a bit lower or more likely them a bit higher like 600/1
So they are saying 1 out of every 60 betters will bet on Tennessee to win it all, no, sorry, not even 1 out of 2000.
And 1 out of 16 people will bet on aTm to win the NC, ha, ha, ha, see the above.
1 out of every 20 gamblers Auburn will bet on Auburn to win the top ranking. Still stupid.
Nobody execept AL, GA, and LSU will attract #1 bets till they win a few games and look great in those wins.
You haven’t made a lot of wagers in your lifetime have you? Because a team is 60-1 simply means you would get 60 bucks for every dollar bet if that team won the wager.
No, it doesn’t mean one out of every 60 bettors will beat on that team. By the way, you should stay away from bookies and casinos!
Lol! Ole wolf is an odd bird….
Wolfman, I do not think the odds mean what you think they mean.
