Updated College Football Playoff title odds include 10 SEC teams
Now that spring practices are over, we have a little bit better of an idea which teams are going to be title contenders this fall.
There’s still a long way to go, but right now, there are updated odds on who will win the College Football Playoff title when all is said and done for the 2018 season.
Per an email from BetDSI.com, Alabama — the 2017 champion — is once again favored to win it all, with Clemson and Ohio State coming in second and third place, respectively. Below, you can see the odds for 10 SEC teams, with Georgia finishing second in the SEC:
- Alabama +225
- Georgia +1000
- Auburn +2500
- LSU +3000
- Texas A&M +6000
- Florida +7000
- Mississippi State +11000
- Arkansas +15000
- South Carolina +25000
- Tennessee +25000
Naturally, these odds will change again when the summer practice session starts, but there are some interesting bets to be had right now — including Georgia.
However, Vegas has it right, as Alabama should be the favorite to win again until someone manages to take down the Crimson Tide.
Arkansas stands a better chance than USC east? Love my Hogs, but I just don’t see that right now..
Yep of course my dawgs have a good chance
Wohohohohoho, Alabama is top rated?! Wait a second, weren’t they last year? and the year before that? Have they not played in every Natty game since the playoff was introduced? Well gosh, I am shocked. I really did not see this coming. I was thinking they’d be top ten for sure but number 1? What about UCF?! What about Fresno?! What about Georgia Southern?! I guess firing Nick Saban to hire Ed Oregon really paid off for the Tide. Geaux Gators.
I wish LSU was as good as we used to be..
We already know you’re the TAMU fan that was a MSU fan that switched to a UT fan that just changed his screen name to copy LSUSMC.
This clown stole my ID. How does this site allow two people to have the exact same ID?
They do… The UGA fan LegendDD2 did the same thing to me a few years ago… Its easy to tell.. I just look at post history.
I was shocked when I saw that. Why even require a password if anyone can just do that. I emailed Kevin so hopefully he can get that taken care of.
