It wasn’t a good week for SEC coaches on the hot seat, as a few teams suffered embarrassing losses while others underperformed expectations against lesser foes.

Now, updated odds have been released on who will be the first SEC coach to get fired this season, with a clear favorite emerging in Tennessee coach Butch Jones.

Jones’s Vols lost in heartbreaking fashion on a last-second Hail Mary against Florida, and now he is the 3-2 favorite to get the axe first.

Following him are Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin, Auburn’s Gus Malzahn, Missouri’s Barry Odom, LSU’s Ed Orgeron and Arkansas’s Bret Bielema:

Of those six coaches, only Bielema’s team didn’t have a game in Week 3. The Razorbacks square off against Sumlin and the Aggies in Dallas this weekend, though, in what is an important game for both coaches.

The winner will take a little bit of pressure off himself, while the loser will hear even more fans calling for his job in the coming weeks.
