The 2018 bowl season is now underway, but the first SEC action is still a few days away, as we have to wait until Dec. 27, when Vanderbilt and Baylor meet up in the Texas Bowl.

However, the bowl season may be worth the wait, as the SEC is projected to go 9-2 in its 11 bowl matchups.

Per the latest lines from MyBookie.ag, only Florida and Kentucky enter bowl season as underdogs:

  • Texas Bowl: Vanderbilt (-4) vs. Baylor
  • Music City Bowl: Auburn (-3.5) vs. Purdue
  • Peach Bowl: Florida (+7) vs. Michigan
  • Belk Bowl: South Carolina (-3.5) vs. Virginia
  • Orange Bowl (CFP): Alabama (-14) vs. Oklahoma
  • Liberty Bowl: Mizzou (-8) vs. Oklahoma State
  • Gator Bowl: Texas A&M (-7) vs. NC State
  • Outback Bowl: Mississippi State (-7) vs.  Iowa
  • Citrus Bowl: Kentucky (+6.5) vs. Penn State
  • Fiesta Bowl: LSU (-7.5) vs. UCF
  • Sugar Bowl: Georgia (-13) vs. Texas

There’s still time for those to change, as injuries can happen and a few players still have bowl decisions to make. For now, though, it looks like the SEC could dominate bowl season.
