ALABAMA at OLE MISS 3:30 p.m. ET, CBS — We’ve been waiting since July for this SEC West showdown, the marquee matchup on ‘Separation Saturday’ and College GameDay’s first-ever trip to The Grove. One of two gargantuan showdowns in the Magnolia State, Alabama-Ole Miss represents everything we love about college football. The Crimson Tide’s never lost to the Rebels during the Nick Saban era and won last year’s rivalry, 25-0. Alabama quarterback Blake Sims is coming off a near record-setting performance during a win over Florida, but the first true road start of his career presents a much different challenge. Ole Miss is equipped with one of the best defenses in the nation, led by All-American safety Cody Prewitt. If there’s a way the Rebels can force an early turnover, pressure will mount for the road favorites. The winner of this game takes division frontrunner status and becomes the hunted the rest of the way.
