There are some elite running backs across the college football world this year, and many of them come from the SEC.

This week, USA TODAY ranked the top-10 backs heading into the 2019 season, and two of them come to us from the southeast.

As you can see in the rankings here, Georgia’s D’Andre Swift ranks No. 3, while Vanderbilt’s Ke’Shawn Vaughn checks in at No. 7. Alabama’s Najee Harris received an honorable mention.

Some running backs who didn’t make the cut include Mizzou’s Larry Rountree III and Florida’s Lamical Perine, both of whom seem poised for big 2019 campaigns.
