Every year, SEC teams put together impressive seasons and end up in some of the most-prestigious bowl games in the nation.

That will surely continue again in 2018, with Alabama, Georgia, Auburn and other squads bringing back a ton of talent and entering the year with high hopes.

Recently, USA TODAY projected some of the country’s bigger bowl games, and a total of four SEC squads are anticipated to be in the mix, including Alabama, which is projected to make another trip to the College Football Playoff title game:

  • Cotton Bowl: Alabama vs. Wisconsin
  • Outback Bowl: Mississippi State vs. Michigan State
  • Citrus Bowl: Auburn vs. Michigan
  • Sugar Bowl: Georgia vs. Oklahoma
  • CFP title game: Alabama vs. Clemson

Of course, Georgia and Auburn (and even Mississippi State) will have their goals set much higher entering the season, as an SEC title will likely earn an invitation to the CFP.

But, regardless of what happens, these are some great bowl games, and it sets expectations high heading into this fall.
