Vegas updates national championship odds after Week 12 games, Tua Tagovailoa's injury
We don’t know yet how the College Football Playoff will react to Tua Tagovailoa’s season-ending injury is out, but the Vegas reaction is out. It’s safe to say bettors and handicappers are doubtful that Mac Jones can lead to the Crimson Tide to another national championship (with UA no longer controlling its own destiny after the Week 11 loss to LSU).
One of the most prominent sportsbooks, Caesars, has updated its national championship odds. After the Tagovailoa injury, Alabama is now at 30:1, the eighth-highest behind Ohio State (2:1), Clemson (5:2), LSU (11:4), Georgia (9:1), Utah (15:1), Oregon (15:1) and Oklahoma (22:1).
