Video: The 2016 college football season begins with an onside kick

Hawaii and Cal kicked off the 2016 college football season Friday night in Sydney, Australia, and the Rainbow Warriors started off the college football season right … with an onside kick.
It didn’t exactly work, because Cal recovered, but it was an interesting twist. If you’ll remember, Alabama switched the momentum in the College Football Playoff championship against Clemson with an onside kick that it recovered.
