Even with Ole Miss coming into the game 1-2 and Georgia sporting a 3-0 mark, the Rebels were favored over the Bulldogs by a touchdown at home.

The oddsmakers in Las Vegas proved that they know what they’re talking about yet again, as Mississippi completely destroyed UGA in Oxford from start to finish. Racing off to a 45-0 lead, the Rebs eventually triumphed 45-14.

Unlike in those two high-profile losses earlier in the season, Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly made precious few mistakes while throwing for 282 yards and running for another 53 — he accounted for 3 total touchowns, too. A deep and talented receiving outplayed the Georgia secondary and won all of the 50-50 balls.

As for the Dawgs, with running back Nick Chubb not much of a factor, too much responsiblity was placed on the shoulders of quarterback Jacob Eason. The freshman passer struggled, although not as badly as his wideouts did.
