Oregon has become one of the leading trendsetters in college football.

With the help of Nike, which is headquartered in Beaverton, the program dazzles with the latest gear, cool uniform combinations and state-of-the-art facilities. It’s time to add another facility to that list.

The Ducks’ Twitter account released a video on Thursday of its new Marcus Mariota Sports Performance Center. Named after the school’s former Heisman trophy winner, the performance center is everything one expects from Oregon.

“The goal of this project was to create one space where we could utilize the most state-of-the-art technology to improve student-athlete wellness and emphasize our commitment to the health and safety of our student-athletes,” said Oregon athletic director Rob Mullins, according to a release on goducks.com. “Thanks to the incredible generosity of Phil and Penny Knight, we now have a world-class facility that is going to take the student-athlete experience at the University of Oregon to a level not previously seen anywhere on the collegiate level.”

The Ducks have seen a dip in on-field performance since the departure of Mariota and former coach Chip Kelly. While they might not rival the SEC on the field, they are making a big impression off of it.
