Video: Seven former SEC players listed on NFL's Top 25 merchandise sales chart
When Dak Prescott came out of Mississippi State, he was clearly the most popular face in Starkville, Miss., but it didn’t take long for him to take over Dallas as well as Cowboy Nation’s jersey loving fans around the world. The NFL Players Association announced Wednesday that Prescott had the No. 1 selling jersey this year and the second most merchandise sold of all NFL players.
Another popular former SEC player making the list was Odell Beckham Jr. According to the NFLPA, no player sold more fathead murals this season than Beckham. The former LSU standout finished No. 5 on the overall list.
Rounding out the list of former SEC players to make the Top 25 merchandise sellers list was Cam Newton (No. 10), Jason Witten (No. 12), Todd Gurley (No. 18), Amari Cooper (No. 19), and Julio Jones (No. 20).
