If you were unfamiliar with former UCLA standout Takkarist McKinley before Thursday’s NFL Draft, this will be one hell of an introduction.

After being drafted by the Atlanta Falcons with the No. 26 overall pick, McKinley walked on stage with a framed photo of his deceased grandmother. While unusual, that wasn’t the strange part. Check out McKinley’s rambling speech he gave on live television to NFL Network’s Deion Sanders.

A nice tribute to his grandma combined with a few shouts of “get to the damn quarterback” has to be a first in NFL Draft history. Maybe he’s just really fired up to be joining the defenders NFC Champions.
