When you think of Georgia RB Sony Michel, you don’t always think of a runner who goes out of his way to seek out contact.

However, the senior Bulldog isn’t afraid to lower his pads and deliver a big hit every now and then, as he proved to Mizzou DB DeMarkus Acy on Saturday night.

As you can see in the video below, Michel absolutely trucks Acy just before halftime on a hit that stopped both players cold:

Acy had to leave the game after the play, but hopefully he can return for the start of the third quarter.

Michel racked up 54 yards and a touchdown on six carries in the first half while the Bulldogs jumped out to a 34-21 lead.

It’s safe to say Michel, Nick Chubb and the other Georgia backs will get a lot more work after the intermission as the Dawgs try to protect their lead.
