Temple went 8-4 in 2018, earning bowl eligibility and accepting a bid to the Independence Bowl. The head coach for those 12 games, however, has left. Geoff Collins is already working the recruiting trail as Georgia Tech’s new head coach.
Ed Foley will be Temple’s interim coach for the Independence Bowl game against Duke. Sometimes, interim coaches are more concerned with finding their next job than getting the team ready for the bowl game. Foley made it clear that won’t be the case with him.
