WATCH: Jaguars kicker boots ball directly into his long-snapper’s butt

When you attempt long kicks, they have to have lower trajectories than normal, as you need to maximize distance.

That leads to a lot of long kicks being blocked, but generally it’s by a defender, not a member of your own team.

That wasn’t the case for Jacksonville Jaguars K Jason Myers on Sunday, though, as he booted a long field-goal try directly into his long-snapper’s butt:

That probably didn’t feel good for the long-snapper, who will likely be a little nervous before snapping for future field-goal attempts from Myers.

That would have been a nice score for the Jags to have, as they’re tied with the Miami Dolphins 7-7 in the fourth quarter of a thoroughly unwatchable game.
