Former Florida State QB and SEC villain Jameis Winston doesn’t appear to take preseason football too seriously. In Thursday night’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Winston made a throw that had Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans face-palming.

In the red zone, Winston couldn’t quite escape the Jags pass-rush. As he was going down, he decides he might as well throw the ball and sends it to the end zone, where it gets picked off.

Despite the head scratching move, Winston was bailed out by the refs who ruled his forward progress had stopped before the pass was thrown, meaning the play was over before the pass was thrown. Jacksonville was unable to challenge.
