Kansas football is entering a new era under former LSU coach Les Miles, who is entering his first year with the program.

The goal this spring has been to build excitement around the program, and to accomplish that, the Jayhawks brought in rapper Rick Ross to perform after Saturday’s spring game.

It was, as the kids say, lit. And, as you can see below, Miles took the stage for a song, too, putting his hands up and jamming with the artists:

It’s going to take more than big-name concerts to turn things around in Lawrence, but at least Miles is trying his best to get the program noticed.

Will this excitement lead to more wins on the field? Probably not in Year 1, but it’s about building for the future.
